Those of us who are trying to build online incomes can definitely identify with this. You just retrieved your email messages. You go through each one and one subject line stands out with
Congratulations, You have just received payment of $200!
When you receive this message in your email, you do not wait, you immediately click to read what is inside. Most likely, there are at least two possible emotional outcomes, and any one of them is just about to take over your current state of calmness.
The first is that of sarcasm and annoyance. You just have to hand it over to those who cannot seem to come up with more creative ways of getting your attention. They resort to misleading you, getting your hopes up for a moment, only to reverse your initial excitement and turn it crashing into disappointment.
The second is that of pride and joy. You click, open the message and there stands the notification. You read it again just to be sure, and when you know it is for real, you get excited and celebrate! You have made some income! Now, you can be one of the successful testimonials for you have just been paid! Nothing beats the feeling of breaking through the barrier of failure for the first time. It just feels great!
Now, I am not at all saying that you should stop at $200. Your first $200 represents an initial success that will usher in the next $200, then $500, then later on accumulating to average six or more figures annually. Provided, you resolve to learn at your own pace and put in consistent efforts on a regular basis.
As for my personal experience, my first $200 was earned through an ingenious system created by Tissa Godavitarne, a self-made millionaire who is in the business of helping people
learn how to earn. As a matter of policy, he generously rewards those who “pay it forward” to help others succeed. His system is broken down in three easy steps. After you complete step 3, he advertises your search engine thereby guaranteeing that you earn $125. He does this to prove the earning potential of his system. It is in his interest for people like us to earn because when we earn, he earns as well. However, you only receive your $125 when you earn your first $75 and satisfy other routine administrative requirements.
Now, is this not a good incentive to learn the ropes and actually earn firsthand?

In my quest to redefine, launch and build my professional career while staying at home, my beloved husband asked me, "Have you thought about WHY you really want to do this? What are your really your motives? Have you even prayed about it?"
As usual, this highly introspective and wise lover of mine got me into thinking about what was really going on in my head...Is it just a spur of the moment? Is it something I will get tired off and drop at the first sign of difficulty?
It was certainly a very liberating process. I will list some of them here and perhaps some of you reading this may be able to identify with one, few or all of them.
My motivations for wanting to make extra money at home are:
1. To be physically present at home so that I could spend time with my husband and kids, and to be around whenever I am needed.
2. To create additional sources of income to fund needs which are currently not covered by our existing family budget. These include but are limited to:
2.a. Maintenance Expenses for our house, cars, etc.
2.b. A Pool of savings for Emergencies such as medical needs, health maintenance
2.c. "Nest Egg" long term Investments which are intended for future needs such as retirement money
2.d. Educational Savings Fund for our children not just for College but even their preschool, primary, secondary and even up to post-graduate education - God-willing! ;
3. To financially support worthy causes and especially church ministries;
4. To be able to afford occasional luxuries such as vacations, trips to the spa :) and special celebration of life milestones ; this basically is translated - to be able to buy what I want at times.....:)
These are a few of my reasons. Yours may be different Either way, there is a way to
make extra money at home that is legitimate, doable and affordable.
